London-based Multi-Family Office Hire for Middle East Growth

Stanhope Capital, the London-based multi-family office, has hired Tarek Abu Zayyad, a former partner at Berggruen Holdings, a private equity and investment firm. Mr Abu Zayyad is expected to use his contacts in the Middle East to develop the group’s business in the region. In a recent interview with Daniel Pinto, one of the two founding partners of Stanhope, in the International Herald Tribune, he said Turkey and Saudi Arabia are target markets for the group. "New York and London may be the business capitals of the world, but Turkey and Saudi are developing a deserved reputation as the twin turbines of global wealth creation," Mr Pinto said in the report.
